Getting the right port open on your computer...

When it comes to making sure the correct port is opened for the software to accept request from the internet you need that port "opened" through your firewall program or and on your network router, you will have to read your manual to understand the correct procedure to open the ports.

On a linksys router it is under the Application & Gaming tab or section. Port range settings should be the port your webcam server is using.
